Lena Love is in a category all of her own. She is not only a peformer without peer, but she is also a dancer, show co-ordinator, underground columnist and hostess extraordinaire. Lena's sexy, androgynous look and chameleon personality have made her a favorite fixture on stages and at parties across the world.

Lena's commitment to dance has been lifelong, having started training as a young child. Her talent and love of dance eventually led her to competitive,modern and jazz dance, as well as ballet in Canada and the United States. As a teen she began go-go dancing at raves, fashion shows and also travelling with dance artists working through record companies such as BMG and Hi-Bias. Lena's energetic dancing and intriguing look lead her to a four month tour in China where she developed her onstage performance in the Vegas-inspired club scene of Beijing. As the Toronto gay scene expanded, Lena Love found a greater audience for her sometimes outrageous yet always entertaining stage performances. The relationship with her audiences was certainly mutual: Lena's onstage persona flourished with fans who encouraged her to be as glamorous or as uninhibited as her imagination permitted.

Today, Lena continues to delight and fascinate audiences with her unique, and risque performances. Her corporate client list boasts such as leading brands as United Colors of Benetton, Indian Motorcycle, Benson and Hedges, Labatt, Bacardi Toronto and Miami. She has danced and staged beside leading DJ's including Peter Rauhofer, Abel, Manny Lehman, Victor Calderone, Tracy Young, Judge Jules, Danny Teneglia, Deep Dish, Bassement Jaxx, David Morales, Mark Anthony and Escape just to name a few, and place as feature dancer at an event for the likes of DJ Boy George whom was spinning that night! Jeffery Sanker, the biggest circuit party organizer in the U.S. had discovered Miss Love years ago and has had her perform at his high profile events in Miami and Palm Springs annually. As well, lets not forget the high demand for appearances for the legendary man-magnet party, Alegria in New York and White Party in Ibiza, Spain where Lena has created and set a high status fixture. Lena Love has been the fascinating face of many clubs and events, promoting places such as The Guvernment in Toronto, Leather Ball, MLT, Beef Ball, Squirt (gay pride) all held in her hometown, Toronto. Also, the ever popular Altitude Gay Ski-week at Whistler, British Columbia. She has toured across Florida with Muchacho Magazine and the legendary Kevin Aviance and continues to travel the world performing and hosting at all sorts of events and AIDS benefits in Canada and the United States including Fashion Cares in Toronto and Cherry in Washington D.C.

Lena Love's rising star has not gone unnoticed in the mainstream media. She has been the focus of a Much Music television feature, profiled in Icon magazine, won "Best Float" for gay pride parade two years in a row (2001,2002) , has cameoed numerous times as a feature club performer in QAF, and roles in Studio 54 and Blues Brothers 2000. She was just recently interviewed on her work in The Toronto Star and quoted as "all you need is Love". Lena has also experienced being an icon columnist with "What's Lena Lov'n", in the underground Yumee Magazine.
